NINE is a fully open-access journal. All content is freely available on the journal website immediately after publication, without registration or subscription. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full texts for any lawful purpose.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. See the Copyright & Licensing page.

Authors may deposit the published version in institutional or subject repositories and on their own websites, with a link to the original article and its DOI. There is no embargo.
