The Institution of the Comprehensive Entrepreneurial License (Franchising) Agreement in the Intellectual Property Law System of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Legal Essence, Place and Significance

Abstract

This article examines the institution of licensing agreements, in particular franchising agreements, within the framework of intellectual property law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Through a comprehensive analysis, the article studies the legal status, role and significance of franchising agreements and describes their legal foundations, legal principles and practical consequences. The discussion covers the main topics: the concept and essence of licensing in intellectual property law, the types and legal foundations of franchising agreements, the rights and obligations of the parties, issues of liability, and the legal essence of franchising agreements in the legal systems of developed countries. In addition, the article helps to gain a deeper understanding of the difficulties in implementing franchising agreements and of the interaction between intellectual property rights and commercial legal entities, identifies problems, and offers solutions and proposals for increasing their effectiveness.
