Abstract

In this article, the biological effectiveness of various chemical preparations against the main harmful species belonging to the group of dipterans (Diptera) found in the biocenosis of melon crops was studied. The research was conducted under the conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the composition and density of the dipteran population and the degree of damage they cause were analysed during the growing period of melon crops.
