Abstract

This article examines current problems of modern translation practice. It analyses the main difficulties that arise in translating literary, scientific and journalistic texts, the issues of equivalence and adequacy of translation, and the influence of digital technologies on the professional activity of the translator. Special attention is paid to intercultural communication and the preservation of the national and cultural specificity of the text.
