Annotatsiya

This research explores the linguocultural and psycholinguistic dimensions of the concept “joy” in English and Uzbek. By conducting a comparative analysis of the phraseological frameworks of both languages, the study highlights the metaphorical models used to articulate emotional states. The findings suggest that while English joy is predominantly reflected through metaphors of individual achievement and verticality, the Uzbek language ties this emotion to collectivism, social harmony, and internal spiritual radiance.
