Annotatsiya

The current study investigates the potential of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) as biological control agents against potato tuber moth (Phthorimaea operculella Zeller), a serious pest causing significant economic damage to potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) crops. Laboratory experiments assessed the pathogenicity and effectiveness of two species of EPNs, Steinernema feltiae and Steinernema carpocapsae. The results demonstrated that these nematodes effectively control potato moth populations, representing a promising environmentally safe alternative to chemical pesticides within Integrated Pest Management (IPM) systems.
