This scientific article provides an in-depth comparative-semantic, stylistic and linguocultural analysis of synonymous units in German and Uzbek. Synonymy is regarded not merely as a set of words close in meaning within the language system, but as a linguistic phenomenon with complex semantic differentiation. The study examines the internal semantic structure of synonymic series, their contextual use and their communicative functions. The similarities and differences of synonyms in German and Uzbek are revealed on a scientific basis. The article also analyses the problems of choosing a synonym in translation, the influence of cultural factors and the importance of stylistic differences.
