With globalization, English is known as the international language of
communication in particular its scope in economic and financial aspects. This paper
addresses the importance of English level in the professional trajectory of economists which
investigates the role that English plays in providing access to globalized knowledge,
allowing communication between people of different nationalities, and enabling people to
work across borders.
