Effective management of financial resources and strengthening capital potential are essential for the stability and competitiveness of commercial banks. This thesis analyzes recent changes in the banking sector of Uzbekistan and identifies major mechanisms for improving resource management and capital strength. According to the Central Bank, between July 1, 2025 and July 1, 2026, total bank assets increased by 18%, loans by 12%, deposits by 33%, and total capital by 19% [1]. At the same time, the capital adequacy ratio increased from 17.4% to 18.5%, indicating an improvement in the banking system’s capacity to absorb financial risks [2]. The study emphasizes the importance of strengthening the deposit base, diversifying funding sources, improving capital planning, retaining profits, and optimizing the allocation of financial resources.
