Study and Analysis of Colorectal Cancer Incidence Rates in 2020–2024 Based on GLOBOCAN Data

Abstract

Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains one of the most common and socially

significant types of malignant neoplasms worldwide, particularly in countries with

developing healthcare systems. According to the International Agency for Research on

Cancer (IARC), CRC ranks third in terms of incidence and second in cancer-related mortality

globally. Given global population aging, lifestyle changes, and growing exposure to risk

factors, epidemiological monitoring and evaluation of incidence trends are becoming

increasingly important.
